Police have appealed for information after two vehicles were broken into in Romanby.
The incident happened last night in the Boroughbridge Road area.
Tools were taken from the vehicles.
North Yorkshire Police has urged people to make sure their vehicles are secured and ensure that all valuables are removed before you leave your vehicle.
