Families are being invited to enjoy some spooky fun this Halloween as Wensleydale Railway runs special trains to Scruton Station.
The heritage railway is organising an afternoon of Halloween activities on Saturday, October 31, with visitors travelling by train from Bedale to Scruton.
Youngsters will be able to take part in a range of activities, including mask decorating, making pop-up ghosts, playing pin the nose on the witch and listening to storytelling.
The special event will run from 2pm until 5.30pm, with trains departing Bedale Station at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm.
The journey to Scruton takes approximately 15 minutes.
Tickets cost £6 for children and £10 for adults, including return train travel between Bedale and Scruton and the children’s Halloween activities.
The event offers families the chance to combine a journey on the heritage railway with an afternoon of Halloween entertainment at the historic station.
Tickets can be booked in advance through Wensleydale Railway’s website or purchased on the day from the ticket office at Bedale Station.
