A district nurse is set to run around Bedale dressed as a reindeer all in the name of charity.
Rachael Amy has been challenged to complete 5kma round the town in a reidneer costume if she manages to raise £1,000 for Dementia UK.
Rachel, from Aiskew, set herself the challenge of running 70 miles in November for the charity.
She added: “My husband has challenged me to do a 5k run in a reindeer outfit around Bedale if I reach my £1k goal and I’m just £70 short.
“It will be sweaty, it will be uncomfortable and I will look ridiculous.”
