Firefighters were called out to a bench and table on fire in Thirsk last night.
The cause of the blaze is believed to be suspicious and police have been notified.
The incident happened in Millgate besides the river.
Firefighters from Thirsk were called at 9.07pm and used one main reel to extinguish the fire.
