Croft Circuit will host action on three wheels as well as four when its annual Battle of Britain race meeting returns next weekend.
Darlington and District Motor Club will stage the popular two-day event at the North Yorkshire circuit on Saturday and Sunday, August 22 and 23.
The meeting will include rounds 11 and 12 of the Northern Saloon and Sports Car Championship, which is run by the local motor club.
A bumper field of 40 cars is expected to contest two 15-minute races during the weekend.
Round five of the Focus Cup Championship will also take place at Croft, with races on both Saturday and Sunday featuring drivers competing in Mk2 and Mk3 Ford Focus cars.
Competitors from north of the border will also be heading to the circuit, with the Scottish Legends Car Championships staging three races on each day.
The Scottish Classic Sports, Historic Modsports and Special Saloons Championship will also feature on both days.
Meanwhile, three-wheel racing will be provided by the FSRA F2 British Sidecar and FSRA Pre Injection British Sidecar Championships, with competitors taking on Croft’s full 2.1-mile International Circuit.
The weekend will culminate in the Battle of Britain Trophy Race on Sunday afternoon, when drivers from a range of disciplines will go head-to-head in a 15-minute contest.
Saturday’s action begins at 9.30am with practice and qualifying, with the first race starting at 1.30pm.
Proceedings get underway at noon on Sunday, with racing starting at 12.40pm.
Advance adult admission costs £18 per person each day, rising to £20 on the gate. Accompanied children aged 15 and under can attend free of charge, while car parking is also free.
Croft’s Hangar 50 Café and other catering outlets around the circuit will be open during the weekend.
