Police have appealed for information after damage was caused to the bandstand in Bedale Park.
North Yorkshire Police said officers were investigating a report of criminal damage which occurred sometime between the evening of Sunday, September 13, and Monday, September 14.
Concrete steps leading to the bandstand were damaged during the incident, along with tile work on the structure.
Police are now asking anyone with information about the damage, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the park, to come forward.
