A major weekend of motorsport is set to roar into North Yorkshire as the British Automobile Racing Club heads to Croft Circuit for a two-day racing spectacular.

Taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend of May 2 and 3, the newly named Speedfest North will feature a packed programme of 17 races across the weekend.

Headlining the event is the TCR UK Championship, which will see a grid of touring cars from major manufacturers including Honda, Hyundai, Audi and Cupra battling it out. The championship arrives in North Yorkshire for its second round of the 2026 season, with qualifying on Saturday followed by two races on Sunday.

Supporting the main event will be a trio of Caterham championships, bringing more than 40 drivers to the circuit. The top-tier Motul Caterham Seven UK Championship will feature three races, alongside action from the Bilstein Caterham Roadsport Championship and the FanDrive Caterham 270R Championship.

Young drivers will also take centre stage as the Junior Saloon Car Championship returns, offering competitors aged 14 to 17 the chance to gain valuable racing experience behind the wheel of Citroen Saxos.

Further action will come from the Track Action Racing Club, featuring a mixed grid of sports cars and saloons, as well as the Scottish MINI Cooper Cup, which will race on both days.

Track action begins at 9.30am on Saturday with qualifying, followed by racing from early afternoon. On Sunday, racing starts at midday, led by the opening TCR UK contest.

Organisers say the event promises something for all motorsport fans, with affordable ticket prices, free parking and paddock access allowing spectators to get close to the action.

Advance tickets are priced at £18, with children aged 15 and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
