Police are appealing for information after number plates were stolen from a car parked in Hutton Rudby.
The theft involved the front and rear registration plates from a grey Jaguar XF which was parked close to the Wheatsheaf Inn on East Side.
The incident is believed to have happened overnight between May 21 and May 22.
Officers are investigating and are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, or who has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
