A man was arrested after forcing himself into a shop in Northallerton this morning.
Police say a man forced himself into B&M just after 9am before it had opened.
He made his way through the store, damaging items and throwing goods towards officers when they arrived at the scene.
The man, aged in his 30s, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assaulting three police officers.
Police say enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
