Firefighters were called to a tumble dryer on fire in Sowerby, near Thirsk, today.
The incident was reported at about 12.20pm.
A crew from Thirsk responded to the tumble dryer fire inside a domestic property.
The fire had been extinguished prior to the crew’s arrival
This was believed to had been caused by an electrical fault.
Crews carried out a home fire safety visit and completed a thermal inspection using a thermal imaging camera.
