Businesses across Easingwold have been embracing the Christmas spirit by creating festive window displays.

Hambleton District Council has been running a Christmas window display contest in partnership with Easingwold Town Council and the Wold Class Business Network. The contest was judged by Carolyn Frank, business development manager for the Federation of Small Businesses.

The Tipsy Fox won the best-dressed window display, while the winner of the best Christmas lights went to the Olive Branch.

Richard Clarke, from The Tipsy Fox, was presented with the prize by Hambleton District Council leader, Mark Robson and Mayor of Easingwold, Cllr Peter Nottage who presented the prizes with ward councillors Chris Rooke and Nigel Knapton

The event forms part of Hambleton District Council’s Vibrant Market Towns initiative which focuses on developing projects that enhance the vibrancy of the district’s traditional market towns.
