Croft Circuit will welcome some of the country’s leading racing drivers next weekend when the British Touring Car Championship returns for the North Yorkshire venue’s biggest meeting of the season.
Rounds 22, 23 and 24 of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship will take place at Croft on Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6, with 14 races scheduled across the weekend.
Four-time champion Ash Sutton arrives with a commanding 98-point advantage at the top of the drivers’ standings after taking two runner-up finishes at Donington Park last weekend.
Reigning champion Tom Ingram sits second, while Yorkshireman Dan Cammish heads to his home circuit in third after winning race two at Donington.
Fellow Yorkshire driver Daniel Lloyd, from Huddersfield, will also be on the grid as he contests his second meeting since returning to the championship.
As well as three BTCC races on Sunday afternoon, Saturday will feature the new-for-2026 ‘Race to Pole’ qualifying race.
There will be plenty of local interest among the support races too.
Scorton racer Max Coates will compete in the Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup Great Britain, while Northallerton’s Ethan Hammerton and Yarm’s Gracie Mitchell will be among those racing in the Porsche Carwow Sprint Challenge Great Britain.
The programme also includes the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy and F4 British Championship.
Saturday’s track action starts at 9.30am, with the first of five races at 12.35pm.
On Sunday, fans will be able to meet BTCC drivers during a pitlane walkabout at 10.30am before the first of three 15-lap touring car races gets underway at 12.10pm. Nine races are scheduled throughout Sunday.
Away from the circuit action, there will be family entertainment in the Exhibitor Zone alongside trade and merchandise stands.
Adult admission costs £25 on Saturday, £39 on Sunday or £60 for the weekend. Tickets for 13 to 15-year-olds cost £12 on Saturday, £15 on Sunday and £20 for the weekend, while accompanied children aged 12 and under can attend free.
Parking and paddock access are also free, although grandstand seating for Sunday has already sold out.
