Two people were injured after a fire broke out in the living room of a property in Great Ayton last night.
Two fire engines from Cleveland Fire Brigade and two crews from Northallerton were called to the incident at about 9.14pm.
Firefighters initiated a rapid deployment of breathing apparatus after arriving at the property.
The fire was found to have started in a cabinet containing a music player.
One occupant suffered smoke inhalation during the incident, while another sustained minor burns to their hands.
