A young runner has come fourth in a national cross country competition.
North Cowton Primary School pupil Connie Wilford travelled to Leicestershire to compete in the National Schools Open Cross Country event on Saturday.
Connie came fourth completing the 1.4km race in a time of five minutes 41 seconds.
Connie’s schools said she had worked hard during lockdown both with her school work and keeping her fitness levels up.
