A nine-year-old boy has smashed his target by raising £760 for the Wensleydale Railway’s winter infrastructure appeal.
Sam completed a sponsored walk between his home in Scruton and Bedale Station to raise money for the appeal.
Sam completed the walk on Saturday, October 16 and has smashed his target of £200.
He made the five-mile journey with mum Julie, with the pair walking Scruton and Leeming Bar station.
