RAF Tornado jets will be marking their retirement with a flypast over Leeming and Topcliffe today.

The fighter jets will fly over the bases as part of series of farewell trips to allow people across the country to say goodbye to the aircraft.

The fleet, based at RAF Marham in Norfolk, will be retired from service by the end of March.

Station Commander Group Capt Ian Townsend said it will be a “superb celebration” of the plane.
