North Yorkshire Police are looking for residents to join groups which help influence policing in Hambleton and Richmondshire.
The force is recruiting new members for its Independent Advisory Groups (IAGs), which provide feedback to police and give officers an insight into issues affecting local communities.
Police say they want to hear from people from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and communities across the two areas.
Members do not need any special qualifications, but must be able to send and receive emails and take part in online meetings.
The meetings are held quarterly and include guest speakers from different departments within North Yorkshire Police as well as representatives from partner organisations.
Police said IAG members played a “vital role” in shaping local policing by offering honest feedback and sharing community perspectives.
The next meeting will take place online tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, from 6pm until 7.30pm.
