Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a Northallerton man who is wanted after breaching his licence conditions.
Officers are trying to trace 36-year-old Paterson Prentice, who is wanted on recall to prison.
Police believe he could be in Northallerton or Thirsk, and say he also has links across the wider Hambleton area.
Prentice is described as white, about 5ft 11in tall, with short dark brown hair, a stocky build, brown eyes, a dark beard and a Yorkshire accent.
Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference 12260139180.
Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.
Anyone who has an immediate sighting of Prentice is urged to call 999.
