Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a property in Welbury near Northallerton.
The incident took place in Village Street between 2.30pm and 5.15pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We would like to reassure the community that we are working to identify the person or people responsible and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and noticed anything suspicious near to or on Village Street, Welbury to contact police.
“Your information will be looked at thoroughly and could really help our enquiries.”
If anyone has any information about this crime or any suspicious activity in the area please report to the police immediately on 101 quoting incident number 342 of December 3.
