Motorists faced delays on the A1(M) southbound this morning.
A collision occurred between junction 48 Boroughbridge and junction 47 Allerton Park.
It is understood a car and a minibus were involved.
Highways England announced at about 8am that the lanes had been reopened and the road was clear.
There are 30 minute delays on the approach to this #A1M incident (above usual journey times) spanning 2.5 miles back to J48. Average speeds on the approach to J47 are 10 mph. Please consider using alternative routes. Further info: https://t.co/m3Tfru48Fv https://t.co/C1E6uid7yf
