Hambleton’s four leisure centres are putting a bit of egg-tra spirit into swimming this Easter.

The four district council run centres in Bedale, Northallerton, Stokesley and Thirsk and Sowerby are each holding a special pool party complete with disco, games, inflatables and water guns.

The parties take place on:

  • Monday 15 April at Northallerton from 9.30 – 10.30 am
  • Thursday 18 April at Thirsk and Sowerby from 1 – 2 pm and Stokesley from 2 – 3.30 pm
  • Tuesday 23 April at Bedale from 2- 3.30 pm

Normal admission and prices apply – but places are subject to availability.

In addition, three of the centres are also offering young children the chance to learn the art of riding a motorised inflatable jet ski under the watchful eye of trained staff.

The sessions for ages 4 – 11 years are taking place in Bedale, Stokesley and Thirsk & Sowerby.

£6 per session, booking is essential.

And Thirsk & Sowerby and Stokesley Leisure Centres are running crash courses in swimming. They are a great way to introduce non-swimmers to the water or for those that can swim to help improve strokes and techniques.
