Four arrested over suspected burglaries in Hambleton area

North Yorkshire Police has confirmed that four people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following recent incidents in the Hambleton area.

Police have sought to reassure residents following community concerns about rural break-ins and thanked members of the public for their support and vigilance.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We would like to reassure our community that four individuals have been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with recent incidents in the Northallerton area.

“Enquiries remain ongoing, and officers are continuing to carry out further investigations to establish the full circumstances.

“We understand the concern that burglary offences can cause and would like to thank the public for their continued support and vigilance.

“Your information is invaluable in helping us keep our communities safe.”

Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone with information which may assist the investigation to come forward.
