Firefighters were called to help a man who had fallen yesterday in Northallerton.
The Northallerton crew was called to a property in the town’s High Street at about 6.30pm.
Firefighters gained entry to the address where the elderly man had fallen and was unable to get up.
Crews used small tools to get in and then carried out an assessment on the man until ambulance crews arrived.
He was then left in their care.
