Firefighters were called out after concerns about loose masonry on a building in Thirsk yesterday.
A crew from Leyburn on standby in the area attended the incident at about 6.10pm.
They inspected a dangerous structure above a commercial premises.
Loose masonry was removed from a chimney and advice was given to staff to get it repaired.
