Easingwold’s best dressed window display winners announced

The Olive Branch.

The winners of a competition to find the best dressed window and lighting displays for shops and businesses in Easingwold have been found.

Organised by Hambleton District Council’s Vibrant Market Town Team in partnership with Easingwold Town Council and the Wold Class Business Network, it aims to enhance the Christmas spirit in the town and make it look really welcoming to shoppers.

The winner of the Best Dressed Window Display was Fusion 13 with Purling Paws runner up and the winner of the Best Christmas Lights went to The Commercial public house with Fika Room, runner up. 

The event forms part of Hambleton District Council’s Vibrant Market Towns initiative which focuses on developing projects that enhance the vibrancy of the district’s traditional market towns

The awards were presented by the Mayor of Easingwold, Cllr Peter Nottage, Leader of rHambleton District Council, Cllr Mark Robson and Ward MembersCllr Nigel Knapton, Cllr Paula Thompson and Cllr Malcolm Taylor.

  • Emsley Mavor and K Mayln Opticians were Highly Commended in the Best Dressed Window display with a special mention to Spring Dry Cleaners.
  • The Olive Branch was Highly Commended in the Best Christmas Lights category with a special mention to Just Jents Hairdressers.
