Businesses in Easingwold are being encouraged to decorate their windows and light up their shop displays as part of a competition to enhance the Christmas spirit.
Organised by Hambleton District Council’s Vibrant Market Town Team in partnership with Easingwold Town Council and the Wold Class Business Network, the race is on to find the best lighting display and best dressed window.
Carolyn Frank, business development manager for the Federation of Small Businesses will judge the entries on 6 December and the winners will be announced on 13 December.
The event is part of Hambleton District Council’s Vibrant Market Towns initiative which focuses on developing projects that enhance the vibrancy of the district’s traditional market towns.
