Briefing sessions for prospective candidates for the May local elections are being held next month.
Anyone considering standing for either the district or parish elections in Hambleton on May 2
is urged to attend the meetings being led by the district council’s election team. Agents are also welcome to attend.
Briefings for the Parish Council elections take place on Monday March 4 at 6pm and for the district council elections on Tuesday, March 12 at 4pm – both at the Civic Centre in Northallerton.
Contact the elections team on 01609 767130 if you wish to attend either of the sessions advising which district ward – or parish – you intend standing in, as nomination packs will be only be available to people who have confirmed attendance.
