Bedale AFC enjoy strong start to season

Bedale AFC are celebrating being top of the league after a strong start to the season.

After a successful 2022-2023 season, which saw Bedale win the treble of the Heck Harrogate & District League Jan Sinker Division One Championship, the Heck Harrogate & District League Intermediate Cup and the Heck Harrogate & District League Supplementary Cup, the club now sit top of the Colin Lowe Memorial Premier Division after ten games.

The club has been delighted to extend their partnership agreement with Heck! Foods for an eighth season, wearing a wide range of iconic strips that over the years that have gained worldwide publicity.

The team now sports a new home kit with the addition of associate sponsors SG Petch of Richmond providing modest sleeve and rear logos.

The club is also pleased to be able to wear new warm up training tops, provided by the Taste of India in Bedale.

Chairman and treasurer Martyn Coombs said: “We are forever in debt to all our sponsors and especially Heck! Foods with whom we have built up a remarkable bond over the years.

“With the FA relaxing their short sponsorship laws, we are delighted to welcome on board S G Petch as our associate sponsors.

“Kit providers Total Sport Northeast continue to provide the Supporting Prostate Cancer logo free of charge, as we continue to raise awareness of this dreadful illness.”
