Police believe missing Stokesley woman may have travelled to London

Missing Stokesley woman Tracey Smith.

Police searching for a missing Stokesley woman say they now believe she may have travelled to London.

Officers have issued an update to their appeal to find 57-year-old Tracey Smith, who was last seen in the Stokesley area on July 24.

North Yorkshire Police said enquiries had established there was a possibility Tracey had travelled to the London area.

Concern is growing for her welfare and officers are continuing to appeal for sightings of Tracey or her vehicle.

Tracey is described as being 5ft 5in tall and of slim build, with shoulder-length brown hair and a small mole above her lip.

Police do not know what clothing she was wearing when she was last seen.

She may be travelling in a black Fiat Panda with the registration number WR10 ETK.

Anyone who has seen Tracey or her car, or knows where she is now, is urged to call police immediately on 999.

Anyone with other information which could help officers locate her should call North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference 12260154127.
