A person was treated for smoke inhalation after a hedge caught fire in a garden in Great Broughton this morning.
Fire crews from Stokesley and Coulby Newham were called to the incident at 10.45am.
Firefighters used three hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze and wore breathing apparatus while tackling the fire.
They also used their immediate emergency care kit to administer oxygen therapy to a person who had suffered smoke inhalation.
The fire was brought under control by the crews, with no further details about the cause of the blaze released.
