CCTV appeal after driver fails to pay for AdBlue at Exelby Services

North Yorkshire Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to identify following a make-off without payment at Exelby Services on the A19.

The incident happened at around 2pm on Tuesday, July 7, when a vehicle stopped at the fuel station and a quantity of AdBlue was dispensed before the driver left without paying.

Officers have carried out extensive enquiries, including checks on the vehicle involved and efforts to identify the driver, but have so far been unable to establish the identity of the man pictured on CCTV.

Police are now appealing for the public’s help.

They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man shown in the images, knows who he is or has information about his movements before or after the incident.

Anyone who witnessed what happened or has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact PC Nabiel Galab by emailing nabiel.galab@northyorkshire.police.uk.
