Hambleton Covid-19 cases continue to fall

Just a handful of Covid-19 cases have been reported in Hambleton in recent days, the latest figures show.

Seven cases were reported in the district in the seven days to April 8.

This gives a seven-day rate per 100,000 people 0f 17.

Localised figures show that the majority of recent cases have occurred in the Catterick Garrison and Colburn area.

In the seven days up until April 6 there were six cases reported in that area and none elsewhere in the district.

Across North Yorkshire, there were 125 cases in the week up to April 8, giving a rate of 26 positive tests per 100,000 people.
