A 28-year-old man from Bedale who was the subject of a police appeal earlier this week has now been arrested.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed that the man was located and taken into custody following the appeal.
Officers have thanked members of the public who shared the appeal and provided support that helped bring the matter to a swift conclusion.
The arrest relates to reference number 12250233106.
