Police officers seized a white Ford Transit van on a dark stretch of the A19 after checks revealed it had no valid insurance.
The vehicle was stopped by officers who took immediate action to remove it from the road under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
A police spokesperson said: “No insurance means no excuses. Driving without insurance puts everyone at risk. We’re out there—day and night—keeping our roads safe.”
