Tickets are now on sale for The Polar Express train rides at Wensleydale Railway with departures between November 14 and December 22.
The family Christmas experience welcomed over 1.5 million riders across 54 locations in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia in 2024, and it’s back to spread festive cheer in North Yorkshire once again.
At Wensleydale Railway, the story comes to life as guests embark on a round-trip journey to the North Pole.
A cast of performers brings the characters to life, transporting passengers for an immersive one-hour experience based on the hit film.
Once aboard, the conductor makes his way through the carriages to punch golden tickets while dancing chefs serve hot chocolate and a tasty cookie.
Guests are invited to read along with the original children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. Santa himself climbs aboard during the journey to greet children and adults alike, presenting each guest with the first gift of Christmas — a silver sleigh bell.
All passengers will receive a souvenir golden ticket and sleigh bell to remember this enchanting experience. Families are encouraged to wear pyjamas just like the children in the film.
