A tradition of theatrics and entertainment continues at Kiplin Hall this summer with a programme of outdoor theatre.
Paperback Theatre will perform their #interpretation of the classic tale, The Wizard of Oz, on Thursday, July 24.
Programming Curator Alice Rose explains why outdoor theatre is an important part of Kiplin’s programme.
“With tickets from £10 our outdoor theatre programme offers great value for money, without the need to travel to a city to see top quality productions.
“Our regular visitors love to see the gardens in a new light during theatre shows, and for those who’ve never visited Kiplin before, the shows offer a unique experience to make memories after hours.
“The historic families who owned Kiplin Hall were great fans of theatre and music, often putting on their own plays and concerts. Our use of the grounds in this way continues a tradition and a love of the arts.”
Ticket holders can bring their own picnics to the shows, or purchase refreshments from the new café.
Tickets are on sale now and must be purchased online www.kiplinhall.co.uk/events
Kiplin Hall and Gardens is open for general visitors 6 days a week, closed on Thursdays.
