Fire crews have been called to tackle a large roof fire in Northallerton.
The incident is taking place in Brompton Road.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We’ve got several fire crews dealing with a roof fire on Brompton Road in Northallerton.
“Crews are likely to be at the scene for some time.”
North Yorkshire Police has closed the road and is advising the public to stay away.
