Police issue urgent appeal to trace wanted Thirsk man

North Yorkshire Police have issued an urgent appeal for sightings and information as officers search for a wanted man from Thirsk.

Aaron Telford, 31, is wanted for breaching safeguarding conditions imposed by a court after he recently made a series of threats against another person.

Officers are carrying out searches in and around the Thirsk area and are urging members of the public to report any immediate sightings by calling 999.

Anyone with relevant information, CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam recordings is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 12250231514. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their online reporting service.

Police have warned that anyone found helping Telford to evade arrest could face prosecution.
