Police issue appeal after dangerous driving on A168

Police are appealing for information about an incident that occurred on the A168 towards Northallerton from Thirsk.

It happened at 7.20am on Monday and involved a blue Mercedes panel van equipped with a roof rack.

It was reportedly seen to carry out dangerous overtakes and contravene double white lines.

Police say they are appealing for information from anyone who may have dash camera footage.

A spokesperson said: “We are also keen to speak to the driver of a grey Range Rover who was caught up in the incident.

“A number of lines of enquiry are underway to locate the van driver.”
