Police appeal to trace Thirsk man wanted in connection with vehicle theft and other offences

Police are appealing for help to locate Liam Baker, aged 38, from Thirsk, who is wanted in connection with a number of offences.

Baker is sought in relation to aggravated theft of a vehicle, fraud, failing to stop for police, and several motoring offences.

Officers believe he is likely to be in the Thirsk or Sowerby area, but say he also has links to Bradford and Middlesbrough.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, with mousey brown hair.

Anyone who sees Baker or has information about his current whereabouts is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101. If the sighting is immediate, call 999.
