Police are appealing for help to find a man missing from the Bedale area.
Alexander Nicholson, known as Alex, aged 70, was last seen in Bedale at around 5pm on Thursday, October 30.
He is described as a white man, around 6ft tall, of slim build, with medium-length curly brown hair. Officers say he leans slightly to the left when walking.
Alex may be wearing a dark grey or black checked shirt, blue denim jeans, black shoes and a grey anorak-style coat.
Police are also asking the public to look out for a red Ford Focus, registration DP18 XWY, which Alex may be using.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said:“ We are increasingly concerned for Alex’s welfare and urge anyone who sees him to contact us immediately.”
Anyone who sees Alex is asked to call 999.
