Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision near Northallerton.
The incident happened shortly after 1.15pm on Friday, October 24, on Dolly Lane in Yafforth, close to Northallerton Equestrian Centre.
It involved a red Suzuki SV1000 motorcycle, a silver Ford Transit panel van, and a silver Land Rover Discovery.
The Ford Transit and motorcycle were travelling on Dolly Lane away from Yafforth, while the Land Rover was heading in the opposite direction, away from the A684.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 60s, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The drivers of the other vehicles are assisting officers with their enquiries.
The road was closed until around 8.30pm to allow for investigation work and vehicle recovery.
Officers have thanked members of the public who stopped to help at the scene. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
