Police are investigating an incident that occurred at around 8.25am on Wednesday between Belgrave Terrace and Mowbray Place in Sowerby.
It was reported that an altercation took place between two men, during which threats were allegedly made following the removal of flags from lampposts in the area.
One of the men is described as wearing dark work trousers covered in paint, a blue fleece, and a Union Jack bobble hat.
