Police are appealing for information after two accounting books were damaged at a Northallerton shop before a refund was requested.
North Yorkshire Police say the incident happened at TG Jones in Northallerton, where the items were allegedly damaged prior to a refund being sought.
Officers would like to speak with a man who was present at the time and may have information that could assist their enquiries.
