Police are appealing for information following the theft of a 10-ton red tipping trailer near Ingleby Cross, close to Northallerton.
The trailer, which has ‘Griffiths Trailers’ name plates on the side and a plant number of T1969, had been left at the side of the A172 near the A19 junction on Friday, December 13, 2025, after suffering two punctures.
When the owner returned the following day to recover it, the trailer had been stolen.
North Yorkshire Police are asking anyone who may have seen the trailer being moved or taken, been offered it for sale, or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
