
The first-ever Croft Classic to Modern Motor Show is set to take place at Croft Circuit near Darlington next Saturday.
The day will offer motorsport, entertainment and family fun as part of a celebration of everything automotive.
The new event will include the showcasing of hundreds of classic and modern vehicles, the opportunity for passenger and driving experiences and a chance to explore the Motorsport and Supercar Zones.
Amongst the attractions will be the Barford Raceway Live Showcase demonstrations featuring Mini F2 Stock Cars, Teen Two’s, Junior Bangers, Formula 2 and Formula 1 Heritage Stock Cars, Bangers and Hot Rods with world champion Frankie Wainman on hand, while the Mad Mark Rallycross Team will be displaying rallycross cars, with adrenaline-fuelled passenger rides available to book on the day.
Local race and rally organisers, Darlington & District Motor Club will present a line-up of prized competition cars. There will be the chance to see Troy Bayliss’ British Superbike Championship-winning Ducati up close and Northallerton’s Dakar Rally star Robbie Wallace will be present with his bike.
For fans of higher-end cars, the Supercar Showcase will feature McLarens, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and more while the British Motorsport Marshals Club (BMMC North East) will be on hand to answer any questions on how to get involved as a motorsport marshal.
The family fun zone will include dodgems, a giant bouncy slide, and other attractions as well as teen driving experiences with qualified instructors, hot laps, auto tests, track parades, club and retail stands.
Food will also be available all day at the Hangar 50 café and restaurant.
The show starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm with general adult admission in advance starting at £9.50.
Children aged 15 and under go free.
