Motorbike stolen in overnight burglary in Great Ayton

Police are appealing for information after a motorbike was stolen during a burglary in Great Ayton.

The theft happened overnight between Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10 at a property on Wheatlands, where offenders forced entry to a detached garage.

The stolen vehicle is a bronze Royal Enfield Guerrilla Himalayan 452, registration NU75 WZD, with VIN ME3TKKFT6SK004155.

The bike has a 450 Sherpa engine, a black seat, side pannier rails, and one rear pannier bag fitted on the left side.

Video doorbell footage has captured a group of people in the area around the time of the burglary, and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area.

Anyone who has been offered the bike for sale, knows where it is, or has information that could help the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for PC 787 Katy Ditchburn.
