Northallerton fire crews attended a residential property on Linwood Avenue, Stokesley, at 7.42pm on Saturday following reports of flooding in the kitchen and utility area.
On arrival, crews investigated and discovered that water had entered the property through a downstairs toilet. By the time firefighters reached the scene, water levels had already reduced and no further fire service action was required.
Advice was given to the occupier before crews left the scene.
