Fire crews were called to a vehicle fire in Scruton on Wednesday morning.
At around 11.02am, appliances from Bedale and Northallerton were mobilised to Meadow Drive following reports of a car fire outside a residential property.
Firefighters confirmed the blaze was out on arrival. Crews used a hose reel jet to dampen down the vehicle and a thermal imaging camera was deployed to check for any remaining heat and ensure there was no further risk.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not been confirmed.
