Fire crews were called out today after a person became trapped in a car door.
The incident happened at about 3.40pm in Northallerton.
A crew from Northallerton Fire Station responded.
They used crew power to release them.
In a separate incident, Northallerton firefighters responded to a report of a car on fire in the town at about 4.25pm.
The fire was out on their arrival.
The crew used a hose reel jet to cool the engine.
